What NAS for Easynews?

I'm thinking about buying a NAS. A friend has a ZyXEL one, and it seems to have lots of great features except one thing, which happens to be the thing I want one for the most - downloading files from Easynews.

Using the browser interface for the ZyXEL, you can add torrent files or direct download links. The problem is that for the direct links, there is no option to add a username & password and Easynews downloads require a user/pass.

Can anyone recommend a budget NAS that supports direct link downloads on a web interface with a user/pass option?

With a little bit of work you can install Sabnzbd which is a usenet client

While you're at it be sure also check out Couchpotato and Sickbeard which will automatically scan whatever index you use and add stuff to Sabnzbd. There are also guides to installing these on most NAS boxes too.

Yes lots, Sabnzbd is multiplatform, most NASs are linux based so there are guides to adding software. Google is your friend
