Takes a couple of days for the money to clear. They will probably ship it monday and email the tracking number to you then.

It should be with you wednesday assuming all of the parts are in stock.

Got an email that it shipped today. It's an excellent website, but what an awfully strange way of taking payment !

Not strange at all for Germany, in fact it's the most usual way of paying for stuff there. The Germans have always had a deep mistrust of credit cards.

Most likely they have a bit of sense and see that both spending more than you have and paying fees to American credit card companies isn't going to help the German economy.
If it gets me cheaper prices, then it's fine with me... although you would want to tread carefully all the same and not transfer to some randomer. With online banking, it's nearly as easy as CCs but not quite as convenient.

How long does it take to ship after they say its ready for dispatch? They notified me that my payment cleared and was ready for dispatch yesterday midday. Still hasn't been dispatched yet though.

Usually it's very quick once it's ready (i.e., if everything is in stock). Could be that it's not updated - I would expect it to ship very soon otherwise.

New is always going to be strange to me, in fairness it was just as easy as a CC transaction.

Still seems that it hasn't been sent yet. I sent an email just there to check if everything is ok with the order.

You sure everything was in stock when you ordered?

Yep, when I ordered everything was in stock. I just checked again the email they sent me when I had ordered, where they listed what I had ordered. Every item was listed as being in stock.

Credit cards are not common because of the extra charges, plus Germans don't like spending money they don't have so they prefer to pay direct from their bank account.

There is a very easy option for payment called Online-Überweisung. When you go to checkout, a window pops up where you enter your online banking details, you then enter a code that has been sent to your mobile to authorise the payment and the money is transferred instantly.

Got my tracking numbers last night at 9:30.

Edit: sorry misread the dates because UPS wrote them American style. The packages are due next Wednesday not the 11th.

That's worst case scenario id say. Expect it in 4-5 days.

sorry to hi-jack the thread.... quick question...

Do they still only accept bank transfers ?

Does anyone know why they don't accept CC or Paypal ?

They do accept paypal as far as I know you just have to pay 3% on the total amount of your order so it's not really worth it.

I tried placing an order last night, but had to cancel it due to selecting the wrong payment option! Then went back to order properly and the paypal option was gone!

I don't think they accept Paypal on the first order over €500.
