Windows - WEP data and PHPP

I'm looking at the WEP cert for a window here and there are two solar values:

    Solar Factor gwindow 0.37
    Solar Energy Transmittance g 0.61

Does anybody know which one should be used in the WinType sheet in PHPP for the glazing? On the Windows sheet the value shows up in the Perpendicular Radiation column so I'm thinking use the
Solar Energy Transmittance. That could be overly optimistic though and I've a sneaking feeling that the Solar Factor should be used.

Not sure why I didn't see it when searching earlier but from reading this http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2056530851 it looks like the Solar Factor should be used.

You should use the "g" value in the type sheet(I wrote the other post on g-factors)

As I have written "g" is as important as "u" - because it determines how much energy comes in when the sunshine is out

Thanks. Brain's a bit slow today . Just to clarify, in my example would I use the 0.37 or the 0.61 for the g-value in the WinType sheet.

The clue is the letter G - so it the .61

@fclauson biggrin.png thanks, that's the one I was working with. The confusion stemmed from the fact that there are two "g" values on the cert. One is denoted "g" window the other is denoted "g" perpendicular.
