Hi all, I'll be putting up some insulated plasterboard during the week onto a block built wall. I will be using Metal Insulation Fixings as supplied by the wholesaler.

My question is, what sort of dimensions do i use for the fixings?, as in how far apart i put in each one per plasterboard sheet. Thanks

    Should all fixings have washers?

The fixings will have a washer already on them.

B every careful when purchasing these.. Ensure you stay away from bright shiny type.. Can result in train tracks in your wall due to rusting.Very thin galv coating.. You can easily compare against dull galv type. These are made from heavy galv coating.. Take it from someone in the industry that knows..

    Interesting topic.
I'm thinking of doing the same.
My gable wall is north facing so its gets zero sunlight, so its a bit cold/damp.
There is just a tiny bit of damp coming through. Its not at wet or anything major though.

I was thinking of putting up some insulated plasterboard onto it, and not skimming it, as there is a large wardrobe going in front of it.

    Good idea or bad idea?
    Thanks
