Can cruise control be installed into a car that doesnt have it fitted? Is it alot of hassle?

Depends on the car and how the throttle is controlled.
Some cars just need the switch installed and for the function to be switched on via computer. This isn't that common though.

Vw/Audi cars are probably one of the easiest cars to retrofit with CC,It requires a new indicator stalk, wiring, know how and coding with VCDS.

If i was you i would send George Dalton a PM and ask for a quote on retro fitting your car. He did the crusise control on my own Audi.

Those A4s need the switch, steering column lower trim and activating. Total cost is around €325.
