    I have about €300 of €2 coins.

If they are brought to my BoI branch in full BoI coin bags:

    1)   Would there be any charge for changing the coin into notes?

    2)   Would there be any charge for lodging the coin to my account?

    Good morning Jack Jameson,

Thanks for your post and welcome to Boards.

If you are lodging coin to a Personal Account there will be a staff assisted transaction charge of 40cent. This charge will be included in the quarterly banking fees.

If you wish to withdraw these funds from the account, you would need to use an ATM and the charge for this is 20cent - automated transactions are 20cent whereas staff assisted transactions are 40cent.

Please note that branches have cashless days and it is not possible to lodge on these days. You can view contact details for our branches here We would advise calling the branch before visiting for details on their cashless days.

    Thanks

    Billy
