    Hey Folks ,

I have failed my test more than three times. One poster has recently said that there is nothing better than being prepared and confident . I will be sitting my test in Navan in the next couple of months and would be very grateful if I had a map of some of the test routes so that I could drive around them myself to gain familiarity and confidence . I am not a bad driver but confidence is a problem on the day of the test . If I had driven around several test routes beforehand it would up my confidence . Can anyone Help or point me in the right direction ?

    Many Thanks
    SB.

There are so many different routes you're best off ringing one of the driving instructors and getting them to bring you out on a pretest and show you the routes at least then you could practice them :)

    Hi Sakiboy,

I am from Navan and have my driving test in a month's time. Not sure if you've been in contact with anyone yet but I did my 12 EDT lessons and am currently practising test routes with iDrive. I've so far done the Athlumney and Beechmount routes and am practising them in the girlfriend's car when I have the time. I'll be doing a new route tomorrow evening. As we do new routes, he recommended to download the 'Sports Tracker' app, so I set it off at the beginning of a new route and it maps it for me, then when I am re-doing the route in my own time I can follow the route easily instead of having to remember it off the top of my head.

They cover Navan and lots of other surrounding areas. I'm not affiliated with them or anything but would defo recommend them - there's more info/contact details here on their website.

    Best of luck...

    Thanks for that reply Bo.

I think I will give Idrive a call , I am only hearing and reading good things about that school. The Tracker App (now downloading ) seems like a great idea , I was worrying about remembering the routes .
Best of Luck with your Test.

    sb.
