Sky sports promoting live coverage of El Classico (Barca V Real Madrid), but its not live, it is delayed by 15 minutes and to top it off, Sky Sports 2 is showing an old cricket match!

Found out why the first 15 minutes were not on. There is a rule in the UK that no live football can be shown on TV between 14.45 and 17.15 on a saturday.

It's not delayed coverage by 15 mins, they just didn't show the first 15 mins. So it is live.

It is a ridiculous rule. Can understand the Premier League but telivised games from the Bundesliga, La Liga, Serie A etc aren't going to affect attendances in the lower leagues of England.

And to make it worse Irish and Welsh viewers are affected by it when it has absolutely nothing to do with them.
