Trade Difficulties - Any Solutions?

Lads, myself and a couple of trade partners in Perrin and Tyrell are having a lot of difficulty trying to process our trades.

Last week myself and Perrin proposed a trade of my 2nd round pick for Tyler Bray, he accepted it when it came up on the actions screen, the week was advanced and nothing happened. I still have my pick and Bray is still with the Chiefs. It just showed pending on my actions screen, same again this week.

Same thing has happened with myself and Tyrell. I proposed a trade of Pierre Thomas for a 7th round pick, but as his roster size was at 53 he had to cut one to ensure the trade went through, which he did. Again nothing happened. He proposed the trade to me and I accepted. Surprise, surprise no joy again.

I could understand if it took a gameweek to process the changes or something, but last weeks trade attempt by myself and Perrin blows that theory out of the water.

As the deadline is after this week we need to get these moves sorted ASAP. Is this a known difficulty in the game and is there any solution?

    Cheers.

Just an update on this, it appears both players have to be at the same stage of the game week for a trade to go through. I.E, it won't work if one players has played his game and the other hasn't. Both need to have not played or played.

This will probably be the same for me and the Falcons then too.

So does that mean when you play your game it will go through Perrin? Or will we have to re propose it next gameweek?

i think it will have to wait til next season,i think even after both games are played it wont go through and once we advance trades cant be proposed..

If this is the case, would this be possible as a workaround where I would release these players to free agency, the lads could pick them, then before the draft they could give me the picks for either some crappy player they could release or for my 7th for next year, something like that, would that work?

That seems like a fair solution if it has to be used. Might be best to throw it up on the completed trades thread though to ensure that if a player quits and someone else takes over the trade can still be honoured.

Yep in this case that isnt a problem

If we do that will the person who releases the player not have to take a cap hit?

You take the same cap hit when you trade so it doesn't really matter

Heli could me and Paully do that also, even though I've already made my FA pick for the week?

Perrin, if you want to release Tyler Bray and I will pick him up. Then I can give you my 2nd round pick in 2014 before the draft. Sound good?

Lads this is a bad way of trading as his existing salary and contract is lost and you get him on the new 1 year deal usually at a pretty cheap rate.

if at all possible can trades be done in the normal fashion?

You both need to accept the trade prior to playing your game for that week
