Which package?

I'm with a Scout Group in Dublin 7. We want a 'Scout phone' which we can advertise on flyers, banners, on the noticeboard outside the Scout Den and in various notices around the community.

We have a phone - a Nokia 6303 and the PIN that goes with it.

    (a) After putting in the PIN number, it says the phone is 'restricted' and looks for a 'restriction code'...

    (b) What package should we use? The phone will only be used as a 'contact' phone for like, a recruitement campaign. It won't be in regular use.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

The phone is locked to a network other than the sim card that is in it, so thats why you are getting the error looking for the unlock code.

You can get that phone unlocked cheaply, or go to the network you got it from and ask for the unlock code.

Then i suggest to port to o2 if you are not going to be using the phone that often, as they required the least amount of topup over a period to keep the phone number active. All you need to do is make at least one chargeable call or text every 6 months.

    Hope that helps
