Travel Insurance 17yr old

My daughter is going (I hope) to the UK for 4 days from Dublin on Monday morning - a school trip.

I am very worried about the weather, and the flight being cancelled. I know obviously the school has insurance, but I would like to take out separate travel insurance so if it goes boobs up I can recoup at least some of the small fortune I have had to fork out.

I cannot find anyone that will insure a 17year old travelling alone, the lead passenger has to be over 18. Any suggestions would be gratefully received!

I think your only hope is that the school has a group travel policy that would cover this eventuality. I presume they did a group booking and you paid the money for the trip to the school.

May be too late to cover for weather delay as you are already aware of the forecast.

No point then:( I imagine the school has taken out insurance but I wanted additional cover.
