Can I set up my iPhone as a wireless router?

If I could it would mean being able to boost the signal at the furthest point from the UPC modem, which also happens to be the downstairs room that I charge the phone. A quick Google talks about having to jailbreak the phone in order to do this. No idea what that is. Any joy? Thanks. D.

You can use the phone as a wireless hotspot alright if that's what you are asking,,,,, but using it as a wireless router, never heard of it

There is a 3rd party app called MyWi, and yes you will need to JB to use it.
