10 Things I Hate About Life

While browsing through IMDB, I came across this movie, which is in pre-production.

It's being written and directed by the guy that directed 10 Things I Hate About You, which was always one of my teenage guilty pleasures! While they share some connections, it apparently isn't a sequel, but more so a follow-up.
Evan Rachel Wood and Thomas McDonnell star as a young woman and man who meet while attempting to commit suicide at the same “jumping-off point.” Complications ensue when the man’s ex-girlfriend re-enters his life just as his budding rock band is on the verge of signing a record deal. Billy Campbell will play McDonnell’s father, a wealthy and entitled lawyer who doesn’t approve of his son dropping out of law school to pursue a career in music.

Well, this sounds terrible already and about 10 years too late.

It sounds even worse than the ABC Family TV series based on the film, which is saying something o_O
