Got an email saying I'd get first rental free if I use the code FREEMOVIE "during checkout".
Don't know if that's just for me (when I use my email address) or everybody...

Info on the machines is here http://www.xtra-vision.ie/vending

Generic code, so I'd say it's available to anyone

I see they are mostly in Spars. That'll be the end of the remaining shops if they work.
They have brought back the 30 day pass for 25 until 24 November, but doesn't apply to vending machines.

I wanted to read more about this. Yes, I tried the FreeMovie code at the machine and got a free rental. It does seem generic - does anybody have another code???
BTW - excellent selection of movies.

According to the location finder, there's one in the Letterkenny Xtravision store.

Tried all the codes, in both posts.

None are working in Spar Dunleer, must be store specific?? :(

That pass is a great idea.
They should have done it years ago though.

Its something they definitely should have done in response to the postal services some years ago. They definitely missed the trick there. Management have a lot to answer for.

Even a €30/month membership would have been value when they were charging €5.35 for new releases at one time.

Was anyone else charged €1.00 when they used the code FREEMOVIE? Looking at my bank account here it seems I was...

That's ok, if you live near it, i used the mail service & was cheaper & quicker.

More than likely, this was a verification charge that checks the Credit Card is still active. You should see it refunded after a week or two.

I used them as well but the problem was you had no idea what you were going to get in the post and I rarely got my top picks.
