Hi all i suffered terribly with alcohol and drug abuse for about 4 years but i am nearly a year clean now from everything , im just wondering in what way does the dental practice or Clinic help with these days as my teeth have gotten fairly bad , and would not have the necessary funds to undergo expensive dental procedures ,

    any help appreciated

Congrats on staying clean. A private dental practice would have to charge you for dental treatment, even if the dentist worked for free, its unlikely the nurse, receptionist, landlord, materials suppliers and labs would do the same.

Do you have a medical card?

If you are on methadone you are classified as a high risk patient and you can get as many filling as you need as well as a scale and polish on the medical card. Your dentist will need a letter confirming such.
