    I'm looking to upgrade my build from here: http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=84193918&postcount=14 with a 2nd 7870xt and a 750w PSU
Will that psu give me enough juice to run both cards and an overclocked FX6300? Also I have 4 fans in the case at the moment but with the extra card going in should I look to install 2 more or is there another solution to cooling crossfire cards?

What 7870XT do you have? The VT model has a poor cooler and having two of them might cause hear issues.

Bumping this because I'm thinking of making an offer on a 7950 on adverts. I am right in thinking that I can cross fire this with my 7870 xt yes? Is there any advantages or disadvantages to this?

You can CF them, you would be limited by the 256bit bus and 2GB VRAM ON THE joker though, not allowing you to take advantage of the extra bandwidth and VRAM on the 7950.

Have you tried overclocking your XT at all? They clock really well, you can get over 25% extra performance out of them you know.

Yeah I have it overclocked as far as I can push it right now and it does fantastic with every game really... But I just want moar power!

But would it be worth going for the 7950 7870 cf right now and then maybe upgrading to a 7950 cf in 6 to 8 months?

Does anyone have any experience with OCUK's own brand of psu?

It wouldn't be worth going for a 7950 and limiting yourself now, and then upgrading to dual 7950s later, the perf diff would be minimal.

About to pull the trigger on the psu anyway, so a 750w will definitely cover me even for overclocking the cards and taking into account that my FX 6300 is already OC'd to 4.4Ghz? And if so can anyone recommend a suitable one on amazon.co.uk or otherwise please?
