Anybody here get a Picade in the end ? Now that the long crappy winter evenings are drawing in I'm looking for a project to keep me entertained. It seems way overdue for the most part, victim of its own success maybe ?

  • Just came across this and want it bad....but they seem to be badly behind schedule so I am uncertain whether to commit €200+ of my lovely Euros.

  • Hmmm I don't know....have you sold many others mate? If so any pics of the finished product?

I've my eye on one of these. Great price. It would be my first arcade cab. Don't have the dosh to shed on the real deal, and skills to make my own so this seems ideal. BUT I've tweeted the piccade makers (pimoroni) 're availability of Picade to non kickstater backers. And got a no date set reply. Dont want to wait but have not found an alternative.

  • Well MrVestek above seems our best hope then. I'm assuming he's referring to a PiJamma.

Love the kit Mr Vestek, but again I'm a total novice toward these builds. What exact parts would I need to get this fully built? And where are the best places to shop around for those parts? I presume a raspberry pi to start.I don't want to buy parts that won't work or are not needed. But would an ouya work well on one of these? I use one for emulation on the tv and think maybe it'll work well in one of these.
