SailRail cancel/amend booking

We're booked to come home on the Irish Ferries Swift on Sunday from Manchester (via Holyhead) but it's looking unlikely that that ferry will sail due to bad weather. Irish Ferries have told me I'd be transferred on to the 2am sailing of the Cruise Ferry if this happens.

What I'm wondering though, is if I can cancel my Sail Rail booking for a refund? Or, alternatively, transfer from the Swift to the Stena sailing at 8.30pm?

Tried calling Irish Ferries this afternoon to ask but can't get through for some reason.

I'm not optimistic but it's worth asking. Any help is appreciated.

Try call them on either of these numbers:

Try it, but I dont see them allowing it.

They would then have to pay stena to carry you while they have a ferry available that could do it.

    Good luck anyway

Tried both. Just getting a strange tone. Think it's my phone line though. Had this issue with another number yesterday.

Yeah, like I said, I'm not optimistic about it. I did manage to force a change before but that was when I arrived at the port to find my ferry was cancelled. I needed to be in Dublin by a certain time and they (reluctantly) agreed to change.

That was a few years ago so thought I'd just ask in case something has changed since then.
