You're having a laugh. Any drunk eejit can get lucky and hit 180 by chance, same could possibly go for a hole in one but 147 in snooker takes balls of steel, years upon years of practice, patience and a lot of chalk.

I'd say anyone who owns a dartboard and plays occasionally has gotten 180s. It's more comparable to holing 1 very difficult red in snooker and leaving yourself on for the black.

I play darts reguarly and get 180's regularly. That's not to say I get them on tap like in this video or anything like it. I'd say he needed a few takes before he got it.

In snooker terms I'd say a 180 is the equivalent of a 25-30 break which by my calculations is potting about 8-9 balls in row. The only difference is you could fluke a 180 (not easy) but it's hard to fluke 7 or 8 shots in a row in snooker.

I have a board, haven't played in years, and only ever played very casually, and remember getting a couple of them. They were rare, but not unheard of.

Hitting 180 in darts is not like getting a 147 in snooker ffs. I've hit 100's of 180s in my life but never ever will I get a 147 in snooker. Two TOTALLY different things.
