Its not so much the "make" of table you buy but how well its built and put together. Some people like big pockets which is fine for your average club table but the good amateurs will prefer tighter pockets and a number 10 cloth. Also look out for the cushions as some can have a dead bounce and others can be springy. I have played on a table built in 1923 and it plays just as good if not better than a professional championship table because the owner has built his own cushions, pockets has 10 cloth and heating installed.
If its just a regular club table your looking for then donedeal has a few there and they are pretty easy to instal yourself with the right tools. If its a championship table your looking for you could buy a normal table for about 1k and put in new cushions and pockets and a nice cloth for about 500 more.

Steel back cushions are a huge plus if your table has them.

When you buy a professional pool table, you're making an investment because the tables can cost a lot of money. Make a list of features you want in your snooker table. Visit a snooker center or sporting goods store to check out what they have to offer.
