Hey, got NCT on 2nd of Nov, did everything, oil change, brake replacement, brake pad sensor replacement but got stuck on Fog light, it seems that in order to access rear fog light I need to take out clips that hold interior fabric/cover to the boot itself, but those clips look like they will break if taken out.

    Any ideas? it's bmw 3 series 2001

They are very easy to take out use a flat head screwdriver to prize them up and then just pull em out.

Should be a two part clip.

Prise the middle out with a flat head screwdriver. Once you have the middle about by about 5mm then you can prise the outer section out.

If you break any dont worry they can be picked up for little in Dealers.

Okay, something new discovered today, turns out I don't have rear fog light for right side.
When I took out the light sockets/box, it had only socket/plug for 1 bulb which is reverse light, then out of curiosity I took out the right side, that had 2 sockets, 1 with reverse light and 1 fog light.
The right side also had more wires going into it and it's a bit slightly different. Any info on this?

Most cars only have one fog light.

I have noticed quite often that rear fog lights have right side red glass/lens, while left side is white, any reason?
