Well Perfect Pitch actually stopped stocking them. And I think they were the only, or one of the very few, stocking them at all in Ireland.

picked one up in xmusic out near the red cow. I'm amazed at the fact that they're the only stockist in the country! And Taylor are one of the best you can get!

I know with PRS, you must have in stock a certain amount of the high end guitars to be a stockist. €25k hanging on the wall when most of your sales are coming from the budget line.
The same could apply to Taylor

Good luck with your new Taylor

I heard that they're difficult to keep in stock due to their requirements - one thing mentioned was not being able to pick and choose models to have in stock, they force retailers to sell what they want them to sell. So I'm told.

I've never actually played one. Gutted.

Some neck guitars has a few nice looking Taylors in (second hand or near vintage ones) if you want my advice the best way to buy an acoustic is with your ears, hands and whatever is in your wallet!

I went through stages of being 100% sure I was a "Takamine guy", then a "Martin guy" buying guitars based on famous players who played guitars that I liked the sound of at gigs or what I thought looked nice!

finally I was given very good advice by a guy running a vintage shop in Bristol- "Let the guitar pick you" turns out I'm a "Gibson guy"

I'll stop waffling now but ill finish by saying go into a shop and play everything! take home the one that speaks to you
