Can't be bothered ringing up to be stuck in a loop but I wonder if existing customers can take up this new package if it just means a new 12 month contract? would the activation fee of 45 euro be waived seen as I have the set up already.....seems daft not to take advantage of faster speeds on offer and pay less for it

If you've already got a cisco 3925 or either of the Thomson modems then you wouldn't need to upgrade it.

I've the Thompson twg870....so if I order online (it's says for existing customers) I'll just be on a new 12 month contract but will be paying less for a faster speed....there must be a catch

I need to pay 45 euro because my upc wifi box can only get 25 mb , shame I'm not a new customer...

I have - I posted over on the Talk to UPC forum and the reps did it for me for free

The only catch is that you need to agree to a new 12 month contract

I think you can change your bundle in My UPC now
