You're not supposed to use them as condoms.

Shouldn't that be a clear message not to fill them to the point where they will break?

The Tesco near me has karts with wheels that rotate 360 degrees though; and going home the road isn't level so it slides all over the place. It's actually a pretty good workout getting home.

I always bring my woven reed basket with me and insist on removing all the plastic packaging at the till. Cornflakes are a pain in the hole tbh. So is milk..

I just use my environmentally-friendly, re-usable shopping bag, I've had the same one for about 15 years and it's still going strong.

That's good going. I get a bag for life and it lasts me one trip home from the shop. I then lose/forget/place in car boot and forget it. "For life" might be a bit of a stretch unless the first one was made for a dragonfly.

I often forget to bring my Tesco Bag For Life and when I go to pick up another one I discover they have sold out and all that's left is those big awkward canvas bags. In those circumstances I buy a roll of Killeen bags for 99 cent and use one of them to put my shopping in. I refuse to spend 25 cent on one crappy bag when I could get twenty better quality ones for a few cent more.
