Next Gen Consoles - Headset Compatibility

Don't know if anyone has mentioned this already but I just noticed that my current headset (Turtle Beach PX21) won't work on the Xbox One

So just a heads-up really. You might want to check yours

I haven't looked at other brands but here's the Turtle Beach checker page (http://www.turtlebeach.com/console-compatibility). I think only two of their current models will work

Bit of balls but secrectely I'm enjoying the prospect of a new headset - will probably splash out this time

I'm still using the MS ones that come with the xbox since mine broke... Might as well be using two paper cups and a piece of string Will get a new set in time for Ghosts

You will be waiting till 2014 to use any Turtlebeach / Astro etc headset with the Xbox one as the adaptor needed won't be available at launch. You will have to use the crappy one in the box till then.

Bit of a joke they changed the jack on the controller. There'll probably be a line of MS headsets released at launch.

Similar issue on PS4 chat won't work on release with existing headsets but will be patched in the future no date has been advised yet!

well if kinect holds up better for voice then the first kinect without any echos in the background

then use your turtlbeach headset for sound
and the kinect for voice or just use the head in the box even though I havnt used one of them in donkeys years :L
