employee and self employed same time

    Hi
    can you help .I am full time employee but I'm also self-employed.Got my P60 for 2012.and earned a little from self employment.Should I add two income together in form 11??PRSI is less then mini 253 so means I have to pay 253??evenif my net profit was 810

    afaik if you have paid PRSI on your P60 income the min does not apply

    If you download the ROS software from revenue.ie and plug in all your info it should do the calculation for you

    I think you won't have to pay the 253 (which is more like 500 from this year, btw). I'm not sure why, but in similar circumstanes I haven't had to.

    Get a Form 11 from Revenue, and fill it in. Or do it on ROS if you really want to (but for a sole trader well under the VAT thresbhold who only logs in once a year, I've found it's more hassle than it's worth).

    Don't add the numbers together. Just write them in the correct place and let Revenue doe the sums.
