    I love the OS, but lets face it the WP apps are both terrible. Any word on an update or even a revertion to Zune?

    I dont have any problems with the apps and Zune was a pain in the arse. I just drag and drop my files over to the phone now, a lot easier.

    Really needs an update, still missing basic functionality like the ability to edit playlists and choose which podcasts you want to sync with the phone.

    Won't be happening, parts of Zune have been integrated with other services but outside of that it's been shelved.

    I use a podast app called podcast lounge for downloading podasts and it works quite well for me. For music I let the WP8 desktop app do the work for all of 2 hours or so. Frustratingly slow and often doesnt sync properly but I am stuck with the phone for another 6 months.

    Overall though I prefer the OS for its full syncing with outlook mail, calendar and skydrive which partially compensates for the music fiasco. Maybe a Nokia with its music s/w would be more useful than my HTC 8s.
