My cousins alerted me to this.
Been an age since I had to do grinds but bloody hell there were never any deals like this!

Anyway they are all doing a courses over Halloween - here is the link:

Might be of use to some struggling students out there not aware of the help at hand.

A friend of the family recently asked me if I knew any good tutors offering grinds, they really have their heart set on grinds rather than tutorials as his kid usually has a lot of questions.

The site isn't very clear, any idea if students can ask questions during the tutorials, no idea how these work.

Bit of a lack of info on the site isn't very helpful!

I asked one of the cousins there and yeah apparently you can ask the teacher anything, you can do it over the mic. You can do in private if you want too, by mic or instant message.
So you will need web cam and mic and all that stuff but sure what teenage doesn't tbh!

Khan Academy is excellent. I've spent a good few hours on the history and Maths there but there's no interactivity with teachers, just videos.

I need to brush up on my maths for a course I'm doing so I've signed up for their free demo later tonight. I'll let yous know what I think afterwards

So I went to their demo and aside from a very minor technical glitch at the start it really seems like a good deal overall. Gonna give it a lash til Christmas anyway and see if it helps.

Yeah my cousins were saying that the fact there were actual teachers doing it was really good. You know, you could ask questions and you are guided through things rather than just reading a book, and of course at far less a cost than actual grinds. My sister was pretty impressed by it.

Hope they do it for more subjects.
