Just wondering would anyone know what the difference in mixed driving would be between the auto and manual 2.0t engines in these Saabs.
I would have thought about 5mpg+ but someone trying to convince me its not even that.

    Thanks

A lot depends on you. What's the difference in the factory figures?

Thanks, think the official difference is around 4mpg (depending where you look). I guess my question should be is it possible to drive the auto in a way
where you get closer to the manual figures ?
Or also is there anyone out there could give me real life figures for the auto.

I am toying with the idea of changing in the next few months and the 9 5 is top of my list but must of the nice ones out there are automatics. I currently drive a 01 93 manual and get around the 32mpg so would be happy wth anything in that ball park. I also like the idea of an auto for a change.
(only do about 10k per annum mixed driving)

I had a 07 auto 2.0t 95 for nearly a year and it was getting 29mpg. Around 600km for a fill of the tank of around 60L approx.
