My Smartphone. Email, Internet, Camera, GPS, SMS, Phone, MP3 player, Apps.. all this in one slim handheld device is amazing.

My Sky+ Box. All my viewing needs, programmes from the worlds top broadcasters and the ability to record, series link etc.

My Tonium Pacemaker.

Tablet Computer. The perfect coffee table browser.

Mini RC Helicoptor. Great fun.

Recently got a Motorola Razr HD which is great because of it's solid battery life. I have a Nexus 7 but the GF stole it off me and uses it all the time since she's sick of her iPhone, she gets a bit vicious if I need to use it :pac:

Soon, though, hopefully my favourite gadget will be the Oculus Rift which is on order.

Weber chimney starter, no more firelighters, petrol :eek:, blowing on the coals or wafting them with a rolled up newspaper, just put 3 sheets of crumpled newspaper underneath, fill with coals, light paper and walk away. Come back in 15 mins or so to a pile of red hot coals. Simple but very effective.

Not so much a gadget, but...the washing machine! Much easier than that auld rock down at the river malarkey.

Also the electric kettle. No more getting up out of bed an hour earlier than you have to just to make yourself a cup of tea.

my zippo, it's functionality and practicality hasn't changed much in a hundred or so years. It also looks nice and the mechanism is easy to take apart, clean, and repair and it's comforting to rub when it's in my pocket. Smells nice too.
