    hello guys.maybe somebody could tell me what exactly is covered by comprehensive warranty(i am talking about used cars 4-5 years old)?thanks

    It depends, try reading the comprehensive warranty.

    Warranty covers what is written in the paperwork to be covered, there is no particular definition per se (I think).
    Having said that, often the comprehensive is a manufacturer's warranty and cover most bits that should be to a certain standard.
    This warranty varies from brand to brand and extends to recalls down the years for various components that needs fixing because they were manufactured incorrectly.

    So when a dealer offers you any type of dealer's warranty, read the small print and then read it again.

    There is no one size fits all when it comes to a used car warranty. The limitations of a used car warranty should be stated in the terms and conditions or should be explained by the dealer.
