My head is melted trying to find / choose huts right on the beach on any of these islands. Anyone stayed in any they would recommend?

    Thanks in advance.

A very good way to end up injured,IMO...the amount of drink driving added to the bad roads can make it a dangerous activity.

It's better never to rent jetskis in thailand full stop...they often try to get you to pay for unseen damage under threat of a beating. Thai police are usually involved in the scam and you'll get no joy reporting it to them.

It's not usually a problem with irish visitors but a lot of english have found to thier cost that you NEVER start a row with a thai...most are inherantly racist and will pile in to assit thier countryman with bottles, chairs, fire extinguishers and flying kicks.

And FFs sake keep away from ladyboys, they will rob you, break a bottle over your head or offer you drugs then rat you out to the police.

Dunno what anybody sees in them anyway, you'd want to be wearing some special beergoggles to make them look attractive.

Thanks will have a look at Lonely Beach. Heading at Christmas with the ma, so will book ahead and deffo no mopeds. She nearly went off the side of a cliff on one in Greece.

Been on the receiving end of a flying kick myself the last time I was there and Im female. A bouncer shoved me a couple of times me because I spoke to him. I told the 2 lads I was with I didnt feel comfortable there anymore and wanted to leave. Complained to the other bouncers on the way out and then the same guy came out and kicked me in the stomach. My mates obviously went mad, looking after me. Ended up in scrap with about 5 bouncers on 2. It was lucky I didnt throw my beer bottle at them, as that was exactly what they were looking for. Me paying my way out of an arrest.
