    Hi all,

    Here's what I'm after.....

A flatscreen tv that I can watch the following-

    Rte
    BBC
    Channel 4

What's my best options? I am in Moycullen Galway, and there is a satellite dish outside from last tenants.

What should I do....I'm new to all this new technology with free view/saorview etc!!!!

You will need a terrestrial aerial to receive rte etc....an indoor aerial may or
may not do depends on area you live but most ppl require an outdoor aerial.

For the bbcs etc you will need a sat pointed to Astra 2 at 28.2 degrees east...you say you have a dish there could be ready to go...if owned previously by foreigners it could be pointed to a different sat...

You will need a tv that is saorview compatible to receive the irish channels or get a combo box such as the

triax tsc114 to get both the saorview and bbcs on one box...
    or walker
    Wp645ts-HD combo

or get a tv that has both a satellite and terrestrial tuner built in.
