2014 LPT bill: When can it be paid?

I've just logged on to pay the 2014 bill but there's no facility to do so yet. I've looked at the key dates - 1st, 7th & 28th November 2013 - but there's no mention of when next year's bill can be paid.

For the self-employed, I don't have Form 11 (tax return) to hand but does any provision have to be made on the return for the LPT?

    Thanks in advance

The Christmas shopping budget is going to be hit this year - and the retailers of Ireland will not be happy .
If people do as they are asked to do by Revenue - at least 800,000 people will be paying the 2014 LPT in full before the end of November 2013 . That's not a typo - it's 2013.
If you want to pay by debit or credit card or cheque - you will be asked (told) to pay up by Nov 27th at the latest. More than half paid that way last year.

Quick question: does the Single Debit Authority (AIB in my case) payment method incur an additional charge?

It's not very clear on the website as it mentions "Certain payment options may be liable to charges from the Payment Service Provider or financial institution involved. However, no charges apply to the deduction at source options."

Yet last July I paid the whole amount via the bank and incurred no additional charge

You might just get your normal bank charge for the transaction - 20 to 30p - if you don't get free banking.

If I follow you correctly, do you want to know how it appears on your bank statement?

I can dig out my statement from July if you need it
