anyone know of a decent place in Dublin city centre where i could get a massage ?checked online but some look a bit dodge and don't want to go to them as not interested in any "extras",not interested in going to a physio and hotels can charge a lot for them so any suggestions are welcome.

I have used a physio in the Clarion Hotel in the IFSC a couple of times she is €55 for the session spent almost an hour working on me each time. Not sure why you wouldn't be interested in a physio.

I would recommend Harvest Moon in Merrion Square. Theyre very good. The first time I went I was put off by how "hippyish" it was, but that's the theme of the place. They are all into really holistic massages etc, and the male masseuse , i think his name is Peter is amazing.

There is a Belgian guy, who does massages and Reiki every Sunday in the CoOp market on Newmarket square. His stall is on the right hand side of the main hall.

It's not his main practice, but you can make appointments anyway.

Plus one on the Harvest Moon (on Baggot Street). Peter has been there for nearly 15 years by now!

An ex-Harvest Moon masseuse has opened her own place on St Stephen's Green - called Himalayan Beauty - it's beside the Londis.

But there is nothing that really compares to a massage given by a physio imo.

Can women give a good strong massage? I'd like to get one but is a man better at giving a massage?

just wanted to ask about this. the physio gave you a massage? i find some physios only want to work on you if you are having some issues with the body. sometimes, i like a massage for no reason but to relax!

I've never had a bad massage in melt on temple lane in temple bar.
Their hot stone massage is particularly relaxing.
