Child Access / child living in London

My daughter is living in London aged 5. She was born here and myself or her mother did not marry. When we broke up her mother took her to the UK without my permission before I could apply for guardianship.
I am presently not working and have been told by legal aid bord here that I must apply for legal aid in the UK.
Has anybody else been in this situation or advise what to do as legal aid bord in the UK tell me I should apply for it here in ireland

Thanks for that , what I really need to find out is what or who to go to regarding legal aid relating to access

i would suggest following the links contained in that site for mens support groups re family law/ access ..

they might offer some support or provide legal support..

my feeling is the centre could offer you advice on the Hague convention
Which deals with children taken from parents etc
