    Giving a quick read through, and coincidentally enough I happen to have just done some mediation analysis ! One point I have learned is that in cross sectional data collection, it is controversial if not incorrect to propose a causal relationship between the mediator and outcome variable, they may in fact have a bidirectional relationship, so psych well being may lead to better coping etc
    As I said just a quick scan so am open to correction ;-)
