I'm starting to research for a friend and would love some advice. I'm looking for a laptop on which she can use adobe standard design. She'll be looking to learn through online tutorials, as well as then design graphics through illustrator, etc. The laptop will also be used for watching movies.

Have a budget of max €1200, and looking to get something is future proof, fast. Doesn't have to be the lightest, but does need to have good graphics and speed. Will need an operating system too. Decent hard drive wouldn't go astray either :-)

    Any suggestions?

PC Specialist's 15.6" Optimus V in the following configuration costs €1,163:

Full HD IPS panel, second HDD bay (if she wants to add another HDD), choice between Windows 7 or Windows 8. PC Specialist computerss ship with Windows installation disk (not just some recovery image which is useless in case of a drive failure). Due to the popularity of this model, it is recommended to spend a little bit extra on the build time to expedite matters.

The Optimus V is also available with a 17" display, €1,202 in the same configuration.
