high kick training

    back when I was younger I had a really good mawashi geri. A lot of it was down to natural flexibility of being young. Now at 32 I can still deliver an ok kick but only one and not as easily. I'm just getting back into martial arts after quite a break and I'm getting very impatient because my mind remembers it all but my body is refusing to cooperate.
    Can anyone recommend a book/DVD that will help me get back my high kick ability.Because things have changed since i was a brown belt and now instead of stretching there's dynamic stretching, static stretching etc etc. Help please.
