Qashqai 2008 & Ipod connectivity

    Hi All ..

Hopefully I can get a bit of advice here .... I have a 2008 Qashqai and it has built in Bluetooth for the phone but there's no connection for my IPOD ... I've tried all manner of FM transmitters and I've found none of them to be much use. So seen as I'm going to be hanging on to the car for a while, I decided I was going to invest in something that could connect the IPOD to the radio properly.

I went to Halfords today to ask about options and they said the only thing that would really work would be a parrot device. This has phone Bluetooth and something to plug the Ipod into. they were quoting €270 to supply and install this. Now if that's the only suitable option, that's grand but i'm not sure. And the fact that I have NO CLUE about this sort of thing doesn't help either ...

So what do you think - Is a parrot the way to go or is there any other (Cheaper) options open to me ...

    Thanks in advance

    A
