    Hi,
Can someone tell me if you can purchase uncirculated 10 and 20euro banknotes directly from the central bank? I'm looking at a couple of uncirculated 2002 banknotes on ebay and asked the seller if they are K coded (made in Ireland). He came back to me saying they are and that "he gets the notes from the Central Bank of Ireland" ?????

Irish notes are Identified with a T. Go into any branch of a bank and chances are that some of the notes in their vaults are brand new. Just be polite and you never know. Get your finger out and do it soon as the new ES2 series €10 are out next year so it will get harder to find these notes as time goes on?

The H and K codes are for the year/plate
