So I have an interview tomorrow for a position in a coffee shop and need advice ! By the way the manager was talking to me on the phone, it sounds like it will be informal and involve him just taking a few minutes out of his working day and take place in the shop itself . Any advice ? I'm thinking not too formal clothes, they already have my cv should I bring another ?
    Thanks guys :)

    dress formally

Some retailers (including me during my time) are absolute sticklers for this.

Expect to get thrown in the deep end and have to deal with cusomters, be firendly and helpful - it should be a breeze. A word of warning though, it's tough work if you're going to be a barrista in a busy coffee shop.

    dress formally

Unless you have been specifically told by the manager to not have to wear a suit, I would wear a full suit to make that all-important first impression. Following on from the previous recommendation, I would bring a copy of your CV and cover letter just in case. Use the time between now and the interview tomorrow just to prepare yourself for the interview by going through your CV in detail and being able to use it to sell yourself for the offered job.

    Best of luck tomorrow.

Thanks for those replies ! Yea I'll definitely dress formally for it. I just wasn't sure with how formal the interview is going to be what would be appropriate attire ! When I was chatting to the manager when applying he really emphasised the need for great customer service skills so will focus on that aswell
