    Hi lads,

I need a new internal wireless card for my desktop. One that can pick up signals from routers in a two-storey house, preferably at a reasonable price. My desktop is upstairs and the router is downstairs.

My current rig is as follows:

    1 Terabyte Hard Disk
Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit
    Nvidia GeForce 2GB GTX660Ti
    ASRock Z77 Pro3 Motherboard
    Intel i5-3570k
    8GB DDR3 1333Mhz Memory
Antec 520w High Current Gamer Power Supply

    BitFenix Merc Alpha Midi Tower

    Cheers.

If you really want to be swanky I can come to your house, drill a few holes in the ceiling and/or walls and buy a load of ethernet cable and run it from the router to your pc ON TOP of me already putting your new components in for you :D.

Actually that sounds like too much effort, I agree with the homeplug suggestion.

I'd nearly just get you to do it all for the sake of watching you sweat like a hoor in an army base.

Thanks for the suggestion, BloodBath. Plugs seem like a good idea.

You're probably going to need a couple of ethernet cables then as well.
