I've got myself a decent fixie having never ridden one before, and have a choice of drop or bull horn bars. Is there any pros or cons to either on a bike like this? Any advice welcome.

Drop bars all the way. Look way more classy and offer more hand positions.

What do you intend using it for? Unless you are going track racing or contesting commuter sprints I would go with the bull bars. If your spins are long enough to need them you have two hand positions with the bull bars and three with drops.
