Picked up a SEALED version of this on eBay over the summer. Hard to believe there are sealed copies of this game still around after 23 years.

Does anyone remember this nostalgic game and, furthermore, does anyone even still play it? I’m guessing the answer is yes to the former, no to the latter?

Still have the box set plus the two expansion packs knocking about somewhere. Not played it in years though (unless counting the PC game version ... ). Same deal with HeroQuest; MB Games other joint venture with Games-Workshop way back when and was released first.

Still have mine plus all the packs too. Hero Quest and packs too. Oh the memories!

Have it, don't play it after moving to 40k but then stopped that after I think rules version 3 and the fact that people took it too seriously and sucked all the fun
    out of it!

Was always more of a HeroQuest man (I had everything they released on these shores for it, including Advanced HeroQuest and the Terror in the Dark expansion). My friend had Space Crusade and it was fun to play but p*ss easy for the marines.

I can imagine it being a fun game to teach your kids or something but couldn't see getting value out of it as an adult.

That christmas I got Heroquest and a mate got Space Crusade. Brilliant school holidays that year. Haven't looked back since. They led to Adavanced Space Crusade, Advanced Heroquest and Space Hulk. It'd be ideal for someone trying to indoctrinate their kids into the hobby.;-)

How much did it cost, if you don't mind me asking?

For the sealed version, I paid €150. But I've seen decent second-hand copies listed for around €75. When you consider the 40K: Dark Vengeance boxed set is around that price, it's not too bad. Alot of them seem to only deliver within the UK though.

Apparently it was never released over in the states.

So since the UK is probably where they produced it, that could be why.
