Possible vit b12 or pernicious anemia

I am a long term sufferer of under active thyroid hashimoto disorder.

Went for full blood count recently and have Got a letter from my doc which has freckled me out. Telling me two things. That my bloods are showing signs of anemia, and also showing positive for antibodies of paretial cells.

Thinking of my symptoms recently I am extremely tired constantly, very weary, lots of emotional out bursts and mood swings, no interest in exercising, shortness of breathe, and tightness in chest. Also have tingly feelings in fingers and some aches and swelling in joints which was being attributed (and reason for full TBC) to arthritis.

Doc wants to now check ferritin, vit b12 and discuss a gastroscopy.

I am freckled out. My father has vit b12 and takes injections regularly. His levels got so low that he lost a pile of weight, was deadly pale and slept all the time. When he was admitted to hospital he was told he was v close to a heart attack as his heart was under such pressure

As u can imagine that is all I am thinking if now and it's not helping the tightness in my chest

    What should I expect
