    Hi guys,

Heading to a football game in England tomorrow and staying the night over there.

6.30am flight over so will be in the airport from 5am, no doubt having a pre flight pint.

Just wondering for any tips on lasting the entire day, up to say 11pmish?

Really don't want to be the one crash first.

Usually dont eat when I drink so getting a good brekkie and dinner is a major priority

    Any other sage advice?

    :)

Eat, pace yourself, and drink water between some of the later pints you have. After the session be sure to have 3 pints of water before bed.

I drank half a bottle of whiskey last night. Straight. I have no hangover because I stayed up for 2 hours drinking water before I slept.

Well it'll be purely pints of beer, nothing else.

Going with my dad, hes a seasoned drinker, wouldnt let me drink spirits thankfully......, he could do 25 pints in a sesh

I dont even wanna attempt to keep up with him!

Don't be afraid to ask for a shandy behind your Dads backs. Looks like a beer, they won't know the difference.

    Don't get stuck In rounds

Stick to lower alcohol beers <4%
Also drink at your pace, not the pace of the fastest drinker.

Good point - when he nips out for a fag and its my twist, i could do that then :)

For the first time in my life Im gonna try and sneak in a few glasses of water between drinks - will be p*ssing like a racehorse but its gotta be done!

I am a fast drinker though, usually 5 'sups' to finish a pint. My dad is ridiculous though, 3 sups and its order again time.

Hes immune to it though. The bastard!

I find moderation to be key. But lots of water is always good, especially if you have to do something the next day!

Have any of you actually read the charter?

Further action may be taken when I review in detail later.
