Just had an extreaction of an upper molar yesterday and have been trying not to smoke but finnaly cracked about 26 hours later. The wound had pretty much stopped bleeding and i had some gauze covering it. I rinsed my mouth with warm salt water straight after and then put a damp tea bag with thin layer of gauze over it.

So my question is have i made big mistake or should i be ok and how have other people faired in a similar position?

Also do you think smoking an e cig would make any difference?

You lasted longer than me! I had four wisdom teeth out and they seem to have healed up fine. I was really worried about the whole being a smoker thing too. It's so hard to stay off them esp when you're feeling miserable to boot. I had no bleeding post-extraction tho - don't know if that makes a difference? Everyone heals differently too I suppose. Hopefully you'll be ok :-)
