    1. What is your budget? €800 - €1000 For the pc build

    2. What will be the main purpose of the computer? Image editing only. I use PS5 Lightroom 5 and various plugins for lightroom, mainly Topaz and Nik collections + SNS HDR. I do a lot of photo stitching for and these files get very big quickly usually ending up around 1-2GB.

    3. Do you need a copy of Windows? Yes

    4. Can you use any parts from an old computer? No

    5. Do you need a monitor? Yes. But open to suggestions here as well. I Have a separate budget for this, Looking at a 23 inch Eizo Foris @ about €300 from a German seller on Amazon uk

5b. If no, what resolution is your current monitor and do you plan to upgrade in the near future? 22" LG 1080p TV. No

    6. Do you need any of these peripherals? Wireless Card/Card Reader/Speakers. Yes, would need a Wireless Card, keyboard and mouse.

    7. Are you willing to try overclocking? Probably not tbh

    8. How can you pay? Bank Transfer/Debit Card. Probably looking at bank transfer to HWVS.de

    9. When are you purchasing? asap, as soon as I can organise internet banking with AIB have a current account only atm. Id say internet banking could be organised maybe Monday or tuesday of next week.

    10. If you need help building it, where are you based? Was going to get it built from HWVS for the €20 fee

Im currently using a i3-350m laptop with 8gb ram and its grinding to a halt with the larger files. I can usually get the files through photoshop and lightroom ok, but very very slowly and its not always successful. But its when I start using the plugins and other photo editing programmes that the laptop literally grinds to a halt.

I also want to buy a printer in the not too distant future so colour profiling etc will become more important to me but for now even processing the files is a problem. I have literally dozens of files which I cant process until I get a new rig up and running, so any recommendations would be very much appreciated as its really holding me back now.
