    Hey guys,

    Yellow emission warning light has been coming on randomly for last week in my car...dosent seem to be a pattern comes on for a day then gone for a day etc I do plenty long drives and keep her well looked after there's 120 km on it...slow to take to garage as it's intermittent...any ideas ??

    You need to have the fault codes from the car's ECU read to give an indication of where the problem is, otherwise it could be many things.

    As above, you will need to get it scanned.

    Even when the light is not on the fault will still be stored in the engine ECU fault memory.

    Ok, if you were around Kildare i was going ot offer to scan it for you .

    Thanks for the offer anyway..would most Indy garages have the equipment to scan this or should I go to vw/Audi garage ?

    Most indy garages will have some sort of scanning tools these days.

    Hey all,

    Just an update took this to a local Indy today said he only had small scanner but error showing up was 'air inlet manifold actuator' have to call back next week and he will have full scanner ....should I be worried from this initial scan?
